Pokeh in Hamilton’s Farmers Market delivers deliciousness in every bowl

Try something different and delicious at the Hamilton Farmers Market, poke (pronounced “poke-eh”) is the latest unique flavour experience to stir tastebuds.

I have to admit, I visited Pokeh on several occasions but was intimidated by the number of menu options and the large crowds of people waiting to order.  After hearing yet another rave review about this amazing place, I decided to give it a try.

The staff are amazing.  Super friendly and helpful, I was guided through my options and decided to go with the special, the Kani Kama bowl.

The ingredients were fresh and super tasty.  There was a hint of heat but it didn’t take away from the varied flavour profiles showcased in my bowl.  I opted for the cucumber noodles but white or brown rice are other options.

Service is very quick.  Once we received our order my family and I sat silently eating our bowls, we were all too busy savouring our lunch.

Vegan and gluten free options are available so everyone can enjoy poke.  The options for custom bowls are endless.

Pokeh is located on the lower level of the Hamilton Farmers Market in the area that has become a food court.  Pokeh is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays from 11-6 and Saturdays from 10-5.  Try something different, you will be pleasantly surprised!
